History:

Ánforas de Mar began in the year 2000, producing and selling highly decorative ceramic amphoras covered in a patina of sea life. We produce exact replicas of amphoras from ancient cultures, similar to those found in shipwrecks or displayed in museums. Our target market is mainly national at the moment (Andalusia 40%, and the rest 45%), and to a lesser extent, international (Italy, Portugal, France, Japan, USA and Australia, 15%).

In these markets there are two different areas: on one hand, coastal or Mediterranean areas, where there is a large amount of tourism and culture of the sea; on the other hand, monument areas or with institutions that protect and study the heritage.
